I couldn't resist making another jumpsuit, this ti

I couldn't resist making another jumpsuit, this time in slubby linen. I went with snaps instead of buttons, left off the sleeves and shortened the placket. Easy changes that give you a totally different look.

I forgot how much this fabric relaxes, so my bra is totally showing in the armhole, but I really don't care. It's the perfect lightweight layer for this hot day.

It's done and it's beautiful and full of mistakes but I don't care. I am going to wear this all the time.

I adore how the indigo dye took it from cute to an absolute statement piece.

Perfect way to finish out Me Made May.

I know people will ask, as of now this pattern is just for the retreat. I am not sure if or when I would release it to the world 😉

This is totally not what I wore today but I am so darn excited I had to snap a quick pic.

I indigo dyed the jumpsuit today and added wooden buttons 😍

It was definitely the test sew for the pattern because it's far from perfect, but I am in love. And it's really comfy.

I will share a full picture tomorrow when I haven't already lost the light and I get a chance to iron it.

I think this might be the retreat pattern...

What do you think?

Still waiting on large wood buttons and to work through some of the fiddly steps. But all in all I am pretty happy with how it turned out.

A few things I know for sure we will be sewing this in linen/rayon from @dharmatradingco and mine is destined to be indigo dyed.

Today is one of those days where something is off

Today is one of those days where something is off but you don't quite know what. Then my older sister reminded me that it was 1 year ago today that we last saw each other 😭 This is the longest I have ever gone without seeing my sisters, and I don't like it one bit.

I am grumpy so I am keeping it casual and comfy with some RTW black jeans and and a Montlake tee. But there is a good chance my sweats will be coming out shortly.

Cocktails with friends is one of my favourite thin

Cocktails with friends is one of my favourite things we do every week. Last night there were so many cocktails. Thankfully I soaked it all up with lots of cheese and crackers so I don't feel too rough this morning.

After a slow morning I opted for my comfy sweater knit Icicle Creek and RTW sweat shorts. Although it won't last long because I have lots of sanding to do today.

Kids were home from school today for May long week

Kids were home from school today for May long weekend so that meant family time. We had lunch at the beach, ran some errands, and I spent the afternoon sanding a table.

I am now showered and headed to cocktails with friends.

I have been waiting not so patiently for months to get my shot and it's done and I'm so excited! It's just one step closer to finally being able to see and hug my family.

We moved into our house last fall so I never got a

We moved into our house last fall so I never got a chance to see our yard in bloom.

A few months ago I nearly cut these dead looking sticks off my trellis because they were ugly. So glad I am lazy and never took the time to do it!

Now I go outside and admire it, preferably while drinking coffee and wearing a cute sweatshirt.

I wonder what other treasures will be found in my yard.
