Coffee Date

I love my morning coffee and I love a chance to sit down with friends and visit. Since we are friends that just haven’t met let’s grab our coffees and sit down for a chat.

If we were having a coffee date I would tell you about how much I love taking the kids to the YMCA in the morning so I get 2 hours of childcare to get work done. Ben doesn’t love it but I am convinced if I keep trying eventually he will enjoy it.

If we were having a coffee date I would tell you that I have run in the morning twice this week and feel worlds better throughout the day because of it. I am much more productive once the kids are up because my day started at 6:00. The added benefit of all this running is that I have lost 7.2 pounds in the last month and a half.

If we were having a coffee date I would tell you that every day Sophie requests that I make her some piece of clothing out of fabric she has picked from my stash. It makes my sewing momma heart smile and couldn’t be more excited about it. I hope that she never loses the love of handmade clothes.

If we were having a coffee date I would tell you that I still struggle every day finding the balance between being a mother, wife and small business owner. Remembering that taking care of myself is just as important as my other roles and not feeling guilty about doing things for myself.

If we were having a coffee date what would you tell me about?
